FAQ
Yes! it is recommended to first establish your nursing relationship with the baby and your wrapping skills separately before combining the two.
To nurse in your "Ellie" wrap loosen your double knot, give yourself some slack and retie your double knot. Work the slack through your carrier until you can lower the baby just enough to reach your breast. Do not at any point cover baby's face. Baby's face should be visible and unobstructed. Note that you will still need to support your baby's head while nursing.
We recommend going from womb to wrap as Ellie Wraps are the most womb. like environment your baby could be in post-birth. They are recommended for even the smallest babies as you'll get a custom-fit every time you wear it. Although wearers of babies under 3.5 KG need to take extra care to keep air passage ways clear, they are ideal for mothers who have been instructed to implement Kangaroo Care. Our wraps are designed for the first 6 months of a child's life or up to 9 KG!
Nope. It puts too much pressure on baby's spine and joints and increases the risk of baby falling out of the wrap. It also puts extra pressure on the wearer's back as well from the angle of your baby's body. When baby is front facing, their spine is in the optimal "c" position and is unable to be in that position while front facing. Therefore, we advise against back carrying.
Some babies are not accustomed to being wrapped, but after some practice and a few times we are sure the wrap will become one of your babies favorite places. Here are a few tips for an easy transition:
- Before placing baby in your Ellie be sure they are well fed and changed.
- Bouncing and shushing especially in the fresh air can be calming for baby.
- If you can catch baby in their quiet alert stage this is an ideal time to practice wrapping.
- In the first few months it can be common for baby to fuss and push against the wearer's chest. This is baby working on those upper back, neck and arm muscles and practicing for pushing up and rolling over. This is a normal developmental stage and is typically a phase.

I am in love with the Ellie wrap, it's really amazing with newborn!♥️
It's a life saver especially that they want to be held all the time so it allowed me to held him and do whatever i want to do. Also i love how it connects me with my my baby as if he is still in my womb!
Thank you so much Little b team♥️♥️

Thank you so much Arielle for your support. I wrote an earlier comment that the wrap wasn’t working for me, then had a call with Arielle and she walked me through every step till I was able to use it correctly. I love the wrap but I appreciate more the support ♥️
